Calder Portraits

The Calder Portraits exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery was really cool – made even more interesting by the omission of Calder’s Josephine Baker (on view just down Pennsylvania Avenue at the National Gallery). I guess the issue has to do with controversy over the Portrait Gallery’s response to the politics of another artist’s work. Art museum intrigue!
